Most persuasive protesting

To me by far the most persuasive way to protest is to use first person accounts or stories. Cindy Sheehan is coming from a good point in the way she is leading her protest. As much as I despise the woman and how she handles herself she is giving good first person ethos. Her audience is really involved with her speech giving her feedback as she goes. the only problem I really have with her protest is that she says a lot of information that to me is not factually. However I figure that this is common in protest and that similiar to politics that people alter facts and statistics to get what they want out of it. That could also explain her logos and the information she has gives her more of a credibility. It was very important because to have such a large following they have to believe that the are in the right and that there beliefs should be heard around the U.S. or the world. Cindy Sheehan is protesting well to her followers but most people that are not in the immediate following are not going to jump on her band wagon. She is a little to extreme for most anti war people, in my opinion.

Hey Anthony,

I really like your post, it is short and to the point. I agree about your comments regarding the development of cindy's protest by first person ethos. I feel that this makes her protest seem far more legitimate in comparison to malachi's because everything we know from it is third person, and even its actual delivery is third person through delayed media. I also, although biased slightly by my annoyance of her, feel that much of her opinions are not logical nor justified.
